Personal Involvement
Growing up, I've always known about the seven deadly sins. I've seen movies on the subject and friends have talked about it.
I began to connect the seven deadly sins with society today. I found it interesting that such an ancient theological idea could still be applied in today's society.

History
With origins in Greek monastic theology, Pope Gregory the Great of the Roman Catholic Church in the 6th Century ranked the Sins' seriousness based on the degree from which they offended against love. It was, from most serious to least: pride, envy, wrath, sloth, greed, gluttony, and lust. Deadly Sins were so called because they could have a fatal effect on an individual's spiritual health.

Lego's
I choose the Lego's because they are identifiable with today's society. Most people grew up with Lego's or have had the chance to interact with them at some time. Also, Lego's imply a certain innocence because they are a child's toy. I wanted to contrast the Seven Deadly Sins with innocence as well as adding a light-hearted humor to the subject.
